After spending nearly a decade in marketing and enterprise sales roles, Greg founded Traction on Demand in 2006. His unconventional leadership style and industry-recognized expertise in cloud computing and data have earned him influential speaking engagements, which have been instrumental in the organization’s inventive approach to solving business challenges with great technology. He is the first to share his hope for Traction on Demand, which is to build a company that plays a positive and purposeful role in the lives of its team members, customers, partners and community.
Mike is the President of Traction on Demand’s services business. His experience with fast-growth startups ensures a balance between business needs and the team’s well-being. He was introduced to Salesforce as a customer, when he implemented the then new Service Cloud at Borland Software. Mike then joined Appirio as employee #45, where he led the cloud integrator’s sales and delivery teams as they grew to over 1,000 people, overseeing complex, global Salesforce implementations. He’s passionate about what Salesforce’s technology can mean to customers and ensures that Traction on Demand delivers on that potential in every engagement.
With over 20 years experience implementing world-class technology solutions to achieve desired business results, Mike expertly integrates technology workflow and solutions. His expertise enables clients to locate early pipeline indicators, produce better sales and marketing results, centralize data, and improve close ratios. When not implementing Salesforce workflows at Traction on Demand, you can find Mike serving the community as a member of the North Vancouver Search and Rescue team. As Traction on Demand’s Chief People Officer, Tanya brings over 20 years of experience in the games, film, and aerospace industries, and she holds an MBA from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. She has a deeply rooted passion for leading and nurturing all things people and culture because she believes that when values-aligned humans have an opportunity to do the work that they love in a fun, purpose-driven environment, the potential of these teams is limitless. Tanya is also a huge animal rights advocate and would continue to rescue more dogs (all the dogs!) if only she had a bigger house.
Corinne made the leap to British Columbia from Alberta to join Traction on Demand as the Chief Financial Officer. At Traction, she leverages technology to drive transformational customer experiences. For the previous eight years, she was the VP of Finance at Axia NetMedia Corporation, a public company that builds and operates fibre optic networks. In this position, she oversaw Axia’s North American and international financial operations. One thing that has remained constant throughout Corinne’s career is her belief in the power of many minds coming together to create innovative business solutions.
Andrew Buckley is Traction on Demand’s Chief Revenue Officer. His people-first approach to developing businesses was integral in growing Traction from an eight-person startup to a 500+ employee enterprise and the world’s number one dedicated Salesforce partner. Previously, he led the sales teams at Crystal Decisions with the inside corporate sales team becoming the biggest revenue stream for the company. During his 20 years in business technology, he has restructured sales organizations and guided companies through acquisitions and mergers, most notably as the founder and CEO of Bluetide Management.
Chris has spent more than 15 years blurring the lines between marketing and sales. In 2010, Chris joined Traction as employee #3 with eight years of experience working for Canada’s largest communications and marketing agency. Before that, his experience included cooking, teaching and a number of years working on helicopters. Chris’ experience developing and maintaining strong relationships is a fundamental asset to the Traction brand and the foundation of Traction’s business development model.
With extensive experience in various cloud-based technologies and a strong passion for operational processes, Vince has a proven ability to lead highly productive teams and exceed client expectations at Traction on Demand. He takes pride in his work and believes strongly in harnessing the power of teamwork while accomplishing specific individual objectives – a concept that is proven regularly on the ice rink through his true passion, hockey.
With more than 16 years of experience in business development and consulting, Matt understands how to manage complex projects with long lifecycles for some of the world’s most successful brands. Sales, project management, needs analyses, solution presentation, and implementation – Matt maintains visibility of it all for Traction on Demand. Matt was a key contributor to the development and management of Traction on Demand’s proven delivery model.
Throughout his career, Dave has repeatedly helped businesses thrive by implementing data-focused initiatives to drive commerce and go-to-market strategies. He has over 20 years’ experience leveraging data-driven solutions in both B2B and B2C environments. During his career at Business Objects, TELUS, BuildDirect and Traction on Demand, he has designed and implemented solutions to enrich, cleanse and integrate customer information to support targeted marketing, e-commerce and strategic planning. He is an expert at leveraging this information to deliver effective marketing automation, commerce and business intelligence solutions.
Manu has spent a long time in the HR world, so much so, he hates using the term “human resources”. People are not resources: they are people! He spent time working in France, Hong Kong, India and the US. Now he is focusing on building and serving the Traction on Demand community and leveraging cloud-based people solutions developed internally and taking them externally, to the “HR” world. What he wants his “HR” legacy to be is trust first. People first.
Dave brings over 18 years of Customer Service Leadership experience and a singular focus on Customer Service to our customers’ projects. Using his deep knowledge of the platform and constant engagement with Service organizations of all kinds, he guides our projects from both a business process as well as a technical perspective. A strong advocate of the Effortless Experience approach to building customer loyalty, Dave always has our customers’ ROI in mind: “No return, No project. It’s just that simple”.
Michelle is the Director of Community Performance at Traction on Demand. She leads our community program, Traction for Good, which focuses on enabling non-profits to become more efficient through technology, and empowering staff to become philanthropists. Michelle’s former roles include Executive Director of the Take a Hike Youth Risk Foundation; Marketing for the Inter-Cultural Association of Greater Victoria and an Associate with a fundraising consulting company. She believes that companies have an incredible opportunity to create positive change if they “give what they’re good at” in a meaningful way.
