Top 5 Reasons to Attend TractionForce

TractionForce is back for a fifth year!

We’ve been doing this long enough to know what you’re looking for in a cloud technology and business transformation conference. For months, we’ve been thinking about how we can make this the most informative – and valuable – experience for you. Here are the top 5 reasons to join us at #TF17:

1. Relevant, engaging topics
From our roundtable sessions to our keynote addresses, it’s all about the adaptive enterprise. Learn why your business won’t evolve and transform simply by collecting more data but by empowering individual employees with the data.

We’re currently using Traction Pulse, a data collection and visualization solution built in-house that gathers real-time employee sentiment and deeper insights into the projects we’re delivering on. From “amazing” to “brutal,” individual Tractionites rank how they feel about every task performed in the organization. You have opinions about your work too. Is anyone listening?

2. More roundtables, more experts
If there’s anything we know about TractionForce attendees, it’s that they love roundtables. So we’ve added even more topics for you to be specific in your learning. Engage in conversations with cloud tech experts for takeaway lessons that you can apply to your own work. Here’s a preview of how you can expect this year’s focus of the adaptive enterprise to pop up in the different sessions:

Greg Owen, Solutions Engineer
Connected Operations roundtable
“The data is always changing so you have to look at it differently all the time. Your business can’t adapt unless your data strategy does.”

Manu Varma, VP of HR
Building Company Culture roundtable
“Culture is dynamic. It must change and evolve. But what stays consistent are the values of the company.”

3. A Traction Community Celebration
Stick around for the after party and help us celebrate a decade in the biz! With a live band, and food and drinks served all night, you’ll be lucky if you get on that last Skytrain home.

Ten years ago, founder and CEO Greg Malpass was operating out of his apartment as one of the first 500 certified consultants working on the Salesforce platform. Three years later, he hired his first employee and Traction as we know it today began to take shape. Now, Traction is the largest dedicated Salesforce consulting and app development firm in North America, a certified B Corp and one of Canada’s fastest growing (and happiest) companies. And we’re excited to share our learnings with you.

4. An expanded non-profit track
Supporting non-profits is a huge part of what we do. That’s why we’ve built out the non-profit portion of #TF17. Non-profits will enjoy content specifically geared toward them.

We’re excited to welcome speakers from, USA for UNHCR (The UN Refugee Agency), the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco and other fantastic organizations that will each share how they drive their missions with technology.

5. Your feedback incorporated
We listened to your feedback about last year’s event and have worked hard to incorporate your suggestions to make TractionForce even better. You can look forward to a bigger venue, more roundtables and varied topics that still address the focus of the conference.

A huge thank you to all the sponsors who help make TractionForce a reality and a free event. Without the support of companies like Salesforce and DELL Boomi, attendees wouldn’t have such great access to thought leaders in the cloud industry. Thanks also to Conga, Coveo, Litmos, Talkdesk, and Traction Guest.
