As our Salesforce.com Seveloper, you will be responsible for customizing, developing and supporting solutions on the Force.com platform for our clients.

Skills

Tractionites come from a variety of backgrounds, and we are eager to find people that are from non-traditional backgrounds. Typically, we find that people are successful in this role when they have:

  • Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience
  • Full-stack Force.com platform developer, with 2+ years of experience
  • Experience with Apex Triggers, Batch Classes and @Future Methods, Controllers
  • Calling REST web services from Apex, generating and parsing JSON in Apex
  • Experience with Visualforce Pages & Components; and Lightning Pages & Components
  • Effective Apex unit testing, including web service mocking.
  • Javascript and jQuery, including effective Javascript design patterns
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL/SOQL
  • Understanding effective use of Git with managed package versioning
  • In-depth knowledge of platform Governor Limits and workarounds
  • Experience with Angular.js and other JS frameworks an asset

What You Will Be Doing

  • Working closely with clients and project managers to determine project requirements
  • Build client-specific solutions on the Force.com platform using Apex and Visual Force, Heroku
  • Developing re-usable Force.com applications for internal and customer use
  • Developing integration processes using Salesforce.com’s Web Services API and third party integration tools (Informatica, custom web applications)
  • Data transformation and migration (SQL Server, Apex Data Loader)
